Marijuana to be Legalized in Canada by July 2018

Holy Pot Smokin Thursday - Today Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tabled a Bill to Legalize marijuana in Canada by the summer of 2018. 

Adults will legally be able to possess up to 30g of legal cannabis in public and grow up to four plants per household.

"The Canadian Liberal government has launched its long-awaited effort to legalize recreational marijuana, setting in motion policy changes for public safety and health across Canada.

The suite of bills — which would establish 18 as the minimum legal age to buy pot — was introduced in the House of Commons by Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale, Health Minister Jane Philpott and Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland."
